Life is made up of a series of moments. Moments that connect, compress, release, teach, excite and assure us. Taking these individual feelings and starting a conversation with the surrounding environment allows for new moments to reveal themselves and transcend scale from the individual to the village. Knowledge, growth and everyday life are key aspects that enhance the sense of community within a village. Taking these notions of life’s moments and the idea of a community connected village and weaving them together with a narrative allows for architecture that is directly informed by people and context. This project explores these ideas through a library, kindergarten and the residential.
